I heard he did okay at the combines. Anyone know anything more than that?

I'm trying to get some PT next season, coach says maybe if we're way ahead. ;)

All I remember was he looked good at WR, didn't live up to the speed he was listed while at OU, but impressed throwing the ball. Most people were still acting like he's incapable of throwing the ball 2600 yards later. Word has it, he wasn't first team All-Pro, but was one of the more talked about QB's. Aside from BQ the god of college football, of course.

I saw him last night at an undisclosed location in Bricktown.

Of course, that's not really relevant to this conversation. I just wanted everyone to think I was cool for having seen him in person.

I say hire him as an assistant QB's coach. He's been with OUr program forever and is a smart man. He knows our program from both the QB and the WR positions. Coach said he was real good with the checks at the line of scrimmage and reading the D. If he doesn't get a deal or something happens that he decides not to go pro, he should have a job at OU.

I served Mark Clayton and Antonio Perkins over the weekend, and also saw Ingram, Gute, and Joe John all in the same hour.

How cool does that make me?

I think he'll sign a free agent deal and maybe get a shot in Europe, at QB.
