Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight! (I know technically it happens at 2:00 am tomorrow or somthing like that)
It is Spring Forward time early this year.

Me too. And this is the one that makes it hard to get up on time in the morning..right? I think so.
And getting the kids to bed on time is tough because they are not tired till later now...right? I think so.
Yeah that's right. I think.
Yeah it is. That's right.

what is the point of DST again?
i've always thought it was a little silly, but now that we've had to update software all over the place, it looks like a dumb idea altogether, not just this change, that seems dumb by itself

Something to do with farming I think.
And conserving electricity. I think.

We were getting updates from software vendors as late as yesterday afternoon.

i saw something about conserving electricity, but why not shift back the whole year or something, so official business happens 7 to 4 instead of 8 to 5?
what is the point of springing forward, why not just fall back once?
what am i missing here?

You must have trust in your government. They know what is good for you.

It don't matter to me. I work the night shift tonight, so I'll lose an hour of work while the rest of America loses an hour of sleep.

We refer to DST as "Indiana's Civil War" here in Indy:D
This is probably the most emotional isuse in along time. The big problem is people have NO idea how far to set their clocks ahead/what direction/how to set their clocks/what a clock is.

This actually is George Bush's fault.
DST SHOULD kick in the first weekend in April.

Why DST rules:
My 8 month can't tell time. I'll get to sleep a little longer in the morning and he'll be up later when I get home.

Yes. But it seems that no matter how many times we try, Howzit still keeps finding his way back here.

What time did you post?
11:18, but it shows 10:18...doesn't it?
And you just posted at 11:31, not 10:31. Right?
Seriously, the time change messes with me every time.

My college daughter thought she was supposed to set her clock back an hour! Some things never change.
