Anybody know of an easy (and free) way to capture audio from a video file, other than using a microphone to the speakers?

If you have pretty much any video editing software, you can extract audio and save it as an mp3. I know it's easy on Final Cut and iMovie. I'm pretty sure adobe premier has it too.
