Great, another mexican joint.

They better have good salsa.

Love Yo La Tengo...but it will be a last second decision for me. With Lucinda Williams...Son Volt and Lyle Lovett on the bill over the next several months...I gotta pick and choose.

Get ready...YLT will assault your ears.

I'm seeing them on Thurs. here in the STL. Let us know how the show went.

Phht. It's fair to say Tulsa pwns OKC across the board as far as established-act live music goes, except for arena acts. For a brief glorious moment OKC was holding it's own with off-the-beaten-path national bookings, but that dried up. The Conservatory and the Opolis are bringing in some nice emerging indie and punk acts, and occasionally the Bricktown Ballroom or the Diamond Ballroom have some good ones, but overall Cain's pwns anything in OKC.

And I'd be going to YLT if there wasn't a Hornets game.

Cain's owns the state, for sure. Other than that, few Tulsa venues can stay open for more than a week without someone getting shot.

No kidding, at least I can walk the Bricktown area without wondering if my wallet is secure.
