Boston headlining the Texas Jam in '86-'87(I can't remember, go figure) was probably my favorite concert.

I think an almost more shocking headline is "Rest Of Boston Found Alive".

The band's website was taken down and in it's place it says "we've lost the nicest guy in rock and roll"

I bought their first album with my first ever paycheck, and played it endlessly, trying to figure out all the guitar parts.

D*mnit!

I think that I shall play "More than a Feeling" at eleven in his memory. Seriously.

Boarder, that show at the Texxas Jam was in '87. I was there, too. That was also Aerosmith's comeback tour. Boston, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Poison, Tesla, Farenheit. Great show from the Beantown bands. RIP, Brad.

Saw Aerosmith at the Myriad in '85 on the "Done With Mirrors" Tour. That was really their official comback.

ps. Done With Mirrors is a killer cd.

It's been such a long time
I think I should be goin', yeah
And time doesn't wait for me, it keeps on rollin'
Sail on, on a distant highway
I've got to keep on chasin' a dream
I've gotta be on my way
Wish there was something I could say.

Well I'm takin' my time, I'm just movin' on
You'll forget about me after I've been gone
And I take what I find, I don't want no more
It's just outside of your front door.

It's been such a long time. it's been such a long time.

Well I get so lonely when I am without you
But in my mind, deep in my mind,
I can't forget about you
Good times, and faces that remind me
I'm tryin' to forget your name and leave it all behind me
Youre comin' back to find me.

Well I'm takin' my time, I'm just movin' on
You'll forget about me after I've been gone
And I take what I find, I don't want no more
It's just outside of your front door.

It's been such a long time. it's been such a long time.

Yeah. it's been such a long time, I think I should be goin', yeah
And time dosn't wait for me, it keeps on rollin'
There's a long road, I've gotta stay in time with
I've got to keep on chasin' that dream, though I may never find it
I'm always just behind it.

Well I'm takin my time, I'm just movin along
Takin' my time, just movin' along
Takin' my time, takin' my time...

Well, at least I put them in the correct order.

That & I usually don't pay any attention to your posts. ;)

I put them in the order in which they were billed. YOU put them in the order of appearance, or the mirror image of mine. That's sort of like me saying "hey, next Friday I have some kickass seats for Rose Hill Drive and The Who!"

Damn, a suicide.

Comedian Richard Jeni did just last week as well.

What's up with that? Some form of depression? So sad.

RIP.

My favorite lines:

Now I'm not like this
I'm really kind of shy
but I get this feeling
whenever you walk by

I don't want to down you
I want to make you high
If you could see your way to me
Come on and let me try

Let me take you home tonight
Mama now it's alright
Let me take you home tonight
I'll show you sweet delight

I said '86-'87. That's pretty close for me.

It was hot that day. Like, Africa hot. Boston came on as it got dark. Long Time at the Cotton Bowl in the summer night is one of my best concert memories.

I'm one of the very lucky few who saw Boston before they were big. I was in the Army, so it was somewhere around 1974 or so. We were in Boston and saw them at a club called The Mad Hatter. It was greatness (even though I'm not a huge Boston fan - mainly because of the electronic gizmo stuff).

Well, he won't be singing "More Than a Feeling" anymore....

...more like no feeling.

I saw Aerosmith on the Get your Wings, Toys in the Attic, and the Rocks Tours.

Never saw Boston. I felt like there was no way they could be as good as on the Album. Then the 2nd album came out and I realized that they were a 1 album wonder.

To bad about the suicide.

That would have been awesome. Wow.
