NORMAN — Oklahoma concluded its second practice of the 2007
spring session Friday. The two-and-a-half hour workout was split
between the practice fields and Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

OU head coach Bob Stoops liked the practice and was particularly
excited about his team's energy level.

"These guys like to practice," he said. "We've had spirited workouts
both days. A lot of guys are jumping around and giving us great
enthusiasm."

The stadium portion of the practice was highlighted by the team drill
featuring the offense against the defense. That session lasted
approximately 40 minutes. All three quarterbacks vying for the starting
job — Joey Halzle, Sam Bradford and Keith Nichol — got snaps.

"We're still giving those guys a lot to think through and they're
playing against a good defense, but they're handling it well and making
good progress," Stoops said. "This is a learning time for them,
especially in the first few practices."

The Sooners will don pads for the first time this spring when they
practice Saturday. That workout will be the longest to date in the
spring, starting at 1 p.m., and ending at 3:45 p.m.

I have Mozilla Firefox browser, and to watch the videos I need an additional plug in. Is anyone else having the same problem, and what did you do about it?
