But I get to see my wife, so I guess it's worth it.
Off I go on the road...
That is all.

With traffic in Asstin last night and the usual slowdown in Ft. Worth...I left at 2:30 and got home a little after 10. On a good day, it's 6.5 hours from Norman to Randolph.
Asstin needs to be nuked and turned into a parking lot! I hate that town...it ALWAYS has the worst traffic I've ever seen, even worse than freaking Dallas!
Every week? Must be a way around Austin. You may be better off jumping on Southwest sometimes when they have a deal.
I'm doing a version of hillbilly/bootlegger/road warrior work for awhile. I've been detailed to WV for a few months and get to go home to TN most weekends. 'Cept this one. At least I'll have a pretty drive in a few weeks when the trees put out leaves.

Oh I do fly Southwest...a lot...
enough to earn 2 free r/t tickets since last October.
But I can only afford so many r/t tickets at $185 apiece...ExpressJet is the same price...so I drive a lot.
