Rodney Orr, the owner of TiderInsider, was informed earlier today of his son's death in a car accident.

In his rush to get to his wife's side, he was also involved in a fatal car accident.

That's just awful.

I feel so bad about this. Anyone on the streets would have said he was just a crazy driver in too big a hurry. Thoughts and prayers are with them tonight, MR.

i'm reading it was his son-in-law killed initially, and his wife was killed on the way back to tuscaloosca. regardless, sad sad situation. i can't imagine.

I'm praying right now for the whole family. This is so tragic.

I really feel for Rodney Orr, Vanessa (Orr) Watkins, and Natalie (14) and Madalyn Orr (9). The former has to bury his wife and son-in-law, Vanessa has to bury her husband and mother, and the two younger kids are now without a mom in their formative years.

The Lord Bless them and keep them,
The Lord make his face shine upon them and be gracious unto them,
The Lord turn his face toward them and give them peace.

Wow...prayers are definitely with this family. I can't imagine going through that kind of situation.

Remember how Bob was really close to Kejaun's mother during his recruiting-- and probably still is now, I dunno? I wonder if Nick Saban makes those kind of bonds with the families at the different places he's been to. I mean, there's got to be a reason why a losing NFL team is so heart-broken and ****ed off when he left. Unrelated, I know... just seems to me like another reason Stoops is so special here.
