Billy ****ing Preston. it's remixed like crazy...but what the hell. Paulie and Lennon seem to be having a good time.

let me know when something cooler than this happens...and it ain't U2 as much as Bono wanted to cry about it in the late 80's.

Paulie had some good stuff with Wings, though. Junior's Farm is my Fave.

I watched the Rolling Stones R&R Circus the other night and that second performance was disturbing. When it was just the Dirty Mack playing Yer Blues, it was AWESOME. It was one thing to be in love with her the way he was, but to let her get on stage or in the studio was crazy. He obviously let her do it more earlier on before he relegated her to pounding her bongo on the snare beat... but it still seemed odd that one of the top musical geniuses of all time would allow her to crap things up from time to time.

Regardless, the guy loved her like a man should love his wife. I know it didn't make sense on a physical level, but watching Imagine really just shows how deep his love for her was. It's actually very touching in parts.

There are a lot of really good Beatles videos on youtube. I was watching them the other night. I found this jewel of them in the Cavern Club right after Ringo joined. I had only seen a portion of it in a 1980's documentary called The Compleat Beatles.

At the end you can hear some dude yell "We want Pete!" :D

Fortunately Yoko crawls into a bag at the beginning and stays there (literally).

I will always believe that if the Beatles hadn't had John Lennon...they would have never made the impact they did.

I love the Beatles. I'm of the camp that says Paul kept the group musically fine tuned while John gave the Beatles an edge. I also think George was underappreciated as a writer.

My Favorite Song: Hey Jude (I get goose bumps when I hear the brass instruments enter the song.)

I Want You, Blue Jay Way, Fool on the Hill, Something, Savoy Truffle, Don't Let Me Down, Why Don't We Do It in the Road, Hey Jude, Yer Blues, and In My Life would be my top Beatles songs. While My Guitar is the best guitar from a Beatles song but that's a little unfair because God played in it.
