dangerzone is one of the worst, least convincing songs ever recorded. evar. Maybe if it was Ride the Lightening era Metallica, I could buy it. Kenny Loggins, no.

and, Top Gun is a terrible movie. deal with it. A Few Good Men is almost as bad. Tom Cruise as Tom Cruise sucks in every movie he's ever made.

I actually knew a guy in college who had the Top Gun sountrack playing in his car once. I nearly slapped him.

It was the cheesey era but I got no problem with This Is It.

om Cruise as Tom Cruise sucks in every movie he's ever made.

I thought Vanilla Sky was a pretty good flick. Even though the Last Samurai was basically the Japanese Dances With Wolves, it was also pretty decent. I liked Minority Report too... and Rainman (though thats obviously due to Dustin Hoffman).

And in every one of those he played a self-absorbed narcissist. Not really a stretch there.
