View Full Version : Pool owners...Whats a good date

The 1st three years we had our swimming pool, I didn't close it. Its heated and we have a tarp so we just turned it into a giant hot tub during the winter. :D

I closed it last fall, however since gas got so expensive. The lady from the company who closed it for me said that its best to call about a month in advance to get on the schedule to re-open it. So, whats a good date?

mine isnt heated, so its hard to answer that, but the water doesnt get warm enough for swimming until late april

The members of my family who have pools usually do it in late April. Without a heater, it's usually May before anyone older than 10 wants to get in anyway.

If I was a pool owner, I'd think that a good date would include a little late night skinny dipping.

Thanks. Okay, since I'm trying to be thrifty with gas, I suppose a good time would be around the end of April then. I'll make a note to call on Tues. 3/20th to schedule the opening on my TO DO list. :)

Sergio the pool guy after 3 or 4 margaritas?The new pool guy is really hot! I've never seen his eyes though. He wears these mirrored sunglasses and he never smiles and only answers questions with short to the point sentences. Its like hes a droid.

If he comes to open the pool. I'll try to take a photo. :P
