View Full Version : What the heck is that stink outside?

Surely some of you guys can smell that outside?! It was there when I left home at 7:45am and was there when I pulled in at 7:45pm.

It smells like a cross between the stockyards and a fish market. And something else, I can't tell what.

I live around OCU. Does anyone else smell that or know what it is?

My five year old said it made her gag.

the day we were moving in was the same day the temps warmed up and it smelled like a stockyard. the wife and I were thinking "great, we moved in to a neighborhood with a goat farmer."

didn't smell it today, though.

it's dihydrogen monoxide causing the smell, it must be banned

My work is just North of the Stock yards. I have been told that when "that smell" is in the air, it is coming from the incinerator that burns everything left from the cow's that they don't use.:(

if you were anywhere near here I'd blame it on the **** factory. Actually, I don't care that you aren't here here.

It was the **** factory on HW 9.

Whiskey bottles, and brand new cars
Oak tree you're in my way
There's too much coke and too much smoke
Look what's going on inside you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Angel of darkness is upon you
Stuck a needle in your arm
So take another toke, have a blow for your nose
One more drink fool, will drown you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Now they call you Prince Charming
Can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes
Say you'll be all right come tomorrow
But tomorrow might not be here for you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Hey, you're a fool you
Stick them needles in your arm
I know I been there before

One little problem that confronts you
Got a monkey on your back
Just one more fix, Lord might do the trick
One hell of a price for you to get your kicks
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

No, no, at that location it is the smell of the horses being turned into dogfood at the Purina plant. I live about a mile or so from there, it is an acquired taste. ;)

ChickSoonerFan

Yes, Broadway and Memorial is the Purina plant and near OCU there is a lot of Vietnamese cooking.

But the stink I smelled the other day was not dog food or cooked dogs.

:D

Get it? Vietnamese cooking = cooked dogs!!

GET IT?!?!?!

frankensooner
