View Full Version : I think I am sick

not only in the head, but the rest of me too. I have had a splitting headache all day. And I have been freezing cold all day. At one point I had my coat on and a space heater about 6 inches away from me and I was still cold. After about 3 hours, I started sweating and had to take my coat off and turn the heater off. Now I am cold again (although not enough to put my coat back on). I can't wait until work is over.

So, if I don't post for a few days I am probably dead. I am sure it is either sugar diabetes or I am on the verge of my first heart attack. And to think, I almost made it 31 years.

Adios.

Maybe you're becoming gay. I heard that's how it happens. There's gonna be a constitutional amendment covering this soon...

Norm, you may have the flu. That's exactly how Mr. BSG's symptoms started. He had no congestion or sore throatiness but all of the sudden he started getting aches and fever.

If you let it go for more than 48 hours or so there's nothing they can give you.

Go to the Doc.

I wish I had one. My appointment with my new doc is in april. APRIL. Maybe I will go to the AM/PM clinic.

I've had congestion, but then again I always have congestion. I'm allergic to stuff like ... air.

Norm,

According to your average day, this is different how? I mean you live with a perpetual ****-cloud hanging over you, how do you expect to feel anything other than poopy?

Oh, and get well soon big guy.

Yeah, try not to die, man.

Putting your head on strange *** tumors isn't as much fun once it becomes "speaking ill of the dead"...

On thing I can tell you not to do, is don't get drunk tonight. Man, I learned that the hard way...

Drink juice and water until you throw up.

I have drank a ton today.

And you guys have my permission to put my mug on anything you want - even if I am dead tomorrow. I would have it no other way.

Listen to Track 2 of Nelson, After The Rain.

That'll do it.

And, you're probably just doing this to document to your boss that you've been sick for a couple of days when you call in, right?

No joke. I think I spent most of last month using "enforced" leave.

Well, Wednesday night about 11:00 my fever finally got below 100 so I could sleep. Yesterday I didn't run a fever all day but I was very weak and a bit achy. Today I am OK. I have no idea what I had. It wasn't a sinus infection, because I would have been coughing alot. I don't think it was the flu either, because I was never very sick to my stomach (I had taco bell for dinner Wednesday night) or anything AND it only lasted a couple of days.

So - whatever.

Notice I wasn't in this thread being helpful. Much like real life.
