I think that coming down to 162 was a mistake for him. I think if Green were to fight Miranda at 168 he would win. Cutting that weight is bad idea if you want to hang with a guy like Miranda.

162 was a weird catch weight too. The heaviest Miranda had been was 162, whereas Green has fought at near the Light Heavy Limit. 164 would have been a more logical catch weight for them to fight at since that's the halfway point between middle and super middle. Green will still get a crack a Supermiddle belt soon. Maybe they can get him in with the Kessler/Andrade winner.

He's never looked like he did Saturday. Completely tentative throughout. Miranda kept his right up high to deter Green's left hook. Allan never established the jab. Just a poor effort. Even in the 8th he just surprised him, didn't hurt him at all.
