I need a new one, and I can't find one I like. I have a money clip style thing with a strap over where the cards go so they don't fall out, but now the strap is falling off.

No magnets, please, I like my credit cards to work. And Dean, I tried carrying a mason jar around with me, but my pockets weren't big enough.

I just have a basic leather trifold I bought at wal-mart. It seems to do the trick.

Fossil money clip bifold thingy. thee is a thread all about wallets on here somewhere.

i use a billfold - just big enough to hold cash. on the two outside pannels, there are slots for credit cards and drivers license. you can only hold about 3-4 cards on each side. has a small clip to hold the cash down. keeps the whole thing very thin... unlike george costanza's wallet.

has our club logo "burned" into the leather.

Same here. This thing has lasted me longer than any wallet I've ever had.

I have to go through it every so often or else it looks like I got a butt tumor.

I've got a Rolfs black leather tri-fold I've used since at least the mid-90's that I'm aware of. It's just now showing some aging, but I think has a little time left on it.

Yeah, I think that's my best bet. The one I use now is a Fossil brand, so it seems logical to go back to them. I think I've had this one since the late 90's, and the only reason I need a new one is that the snap is wearing out. :(

My cash is in a money clip. Credit cards, id, train tix in the business card wallet. I can't stand sitting all fookockt on a big wallet. Tri folds are the succ.

Billfolds are too.

I've got a long one. You could put your checkbook in it if you wanted to. I've had it since August 1997. Every once in a while I put a little saddle soap on it to condition the leather.

Newer jeans have bigger pockets. I liked this one because it doesn't get sideways in my back pocket. It's a little bigger than most, but a bi-fold is thinner than a tri-fold. I prefer it.

trifolds are too thick.

I used to have a really nice long bifold for years, but I ditched it for a normal bifold when we went to NYC last May. I've been using a cheap, smaller bifold ever since.

Nautica L-fold. I like the L-folds for some reason, but they're becoming increasingly harder to find.

No fold wallet for me. Guess they're called front pocket wallets. Got mine at ebags.com.

Really forces you to clean out all the crap you usually carrying around in a wallet. Like sugar packets.

I heard there's a place in San Diego that makes some awesomely thin wallets out of sailcloth. I keep thinking that will be my next one. I'll get one when I have something to put in it.

I gots me some really nice leather wallets, most still in their boxes.
Actually, I mostly tote a ratty red synthetic "canvas" wallet bought at Wally World for two dollah (US).
Why? (I hear yew ax.) Well, I are a hunter and fisherman and, as such, am prone to toss wallet, keys, spare con-domes, etc, into the old Kenmore along with my outdoorsy garments. I'm usually pretty tired, *drunk, whatever, when I get home soooooo.
Ennyweigh, I got tired of replacing leather wallets so I wobbled into WW and bought the one I aforementioned.
One of my buddies was with me and he espied one of the cheapies in a camo pattern. Next Quail hunt, his wallet slipped out of his pocket as we were slippin' n' slidin' down a gully in hot pursuit of a covey. We ain't found it yet.
Yep, that camo stuff works as advertised.
