I've never seen anything like this. Many of my neighbors have lost significant portions of their shingles. I just took a walk around my house and I can't see any missing (yet). This is BAD. Plus, the air just looks disgusting. Low visibility and you can't even see the sky. Blech.

We are all probably dead and this is what h*ll is like.
We were looking at houses today. The shingles were off some of the homes, insulation panels blowing around the neighborhood. My husband and I just looked at each other and said this is what it was like on the playground in OKC when we were growing up.

Makes me feel like I'm back at home in Oklahoma.
Worst dust storms I've seen since I was a teenager.

dude... the winds and dust made it to Dallas.
I went jogging today with the 1st mile going directly into the wind. I felt like I was running on a treadmill. The 2nd mile turning around with the wind at my back I turned into one fast dude!

Cool, slight breeze in Houston. Got all the windows open. Feels great!

My Daughter gets freaked out when the weather starts up.
I just spent 30 minutes with her pulling up the local weather sites and showing her the radar and such.
She then started worring about next Wednesday because the 6 day forcast pic for that day looked like we are predicting tornados....
After I got her settled down, she then wanted to go outside and check things out for herself. Looks like we'll have guests in our bed tonight. :(
I love my kids....
I wish they would sleep in their own beds...ALL OF THE TIME! :D ;)

Good grief!!! The local news here just did a story about this weather and showed Spiro, OK. The local weekend news doofus called it "Spear-Oh"

Did anyone else's cars get dirty today with the dust-rain? It sprinkled for a few minutes, and left my car with little brown specks all over it. It's back to the car wash for me, which is really annoying since I just washed, waxed and rinsed it to a high shine on Thursday.

We have thundersnow right now. It's awesome.
We had Thundersnow/sleet/ice last night, here. We got an inch of snow in 15 minutes. Then it went back to all ice.
Then it got windy. Very Windy.
Right at my window.
