That's really not the point. The base of the democrat party, no matter how much they pander to the socialist/communist wing, is still the senior citizen population. They won't vote for him because he has color, the terrorism thing is probably a secondary issue. Same reason they won't vote for Hillary, she's a woman. The religious right really isn't in a position to matter on this issue.
