oh yeah, i forgot to mention those, they are good!

be sure they don't try to make you pick one out, they don't taste as good if you get the "before" shot

No, a cup of Jell-O and a small package of gummy bears.

I waited for Dean to show up today so that we could rumble and he never showed.

can I get this Tom Yum soup you guys keep talking about in lieu of the #4 option on the lunch menu?

I like Pad Thai's basil stir fry with mock duck (gotta ask for it, not on the menu). And their Tom Yum is my favorite thing to eat when I've got a cold.

Thai Raja's lunch buffet is large, quick and good. The bananas in coconut milk are awesome.

Manana. I had a lunch meeting today.

And I've never had Tom Yum at Padthai. I'm sure they have it though. They have it at Sweet Basil Thai, but you can get twice as much food for half the money at Padthai.

YES!

I give high marks to Padthai, despite their need to tailor their food to Americans.

My best advice is to go with a big group and share dishes. That's the best way to enjoy Thai food. When my family ate there, we did that and unfortunately they served each dish with rice and then we had lots of lots of plates of rice.

My only minor complaint at Padthai was their Tom Yum. It was just average and surprisingly spicy for American tastes. The best restaurants in Thailand serve Tom Yum shrimp with a whole giant river shrimp (including the head), so it has that rich lobster bisque flavor. That's not available in Oklahoma, so I understand.

For those of you who can't eat the Tom Yum as a soup, you are not alone. I couldn't at Padthai. Actually, I wouldn't consider Tom Yum a soup. I normally eat it over rice, like a curry.
