I firmly feel the Oak Ridge Boys are the epitome of awesome. Words can't describe how I feel about the Oak Ridge Boys, but I will say that they were likely the background music when I was conceived. That alone makes them awesome in my book. But seriously people, how can you not like the Oak Ridge Boys? They sing some great songs, have great harmony, and Richard Sterban's voice should be enough to make you think they are awesome.

I've never heard of them. Are they 10 years from popularity?

They are about 25 years removed from their mainstream success.

that's enough reason right there to subject them to the kind of experimentation that PETA whines about.

Yeah rf5, but who would win in a fight between the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers? My money's on the Statler Brothers, and they even had their own variety show.

that's a tough one. My Grandparent's watched the Statler's every week. I think it would be a draw.

The Oak Ridge Boys are going to be on Shooter Jennings new album that comes out in October. I haven't been this excited about a musical collaboration in a long time.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was Dream On. Or at the very least may have directly followed an Oak Ridge Boys concert.

So, it was right after the late-night benediction at the Y'all Come Back Saloon? Nice.

It didn't have T-Tops. My dad had a Formula Firebird instead of the cliche trans-am.
