Some people consider him an Arkie. He went to school at Gravette Ar. for a while. Heard a funny story about Mr. Morrison. A couple of guys I used to work with went fishing over on Grand Lake. When done fishing they go to a local pizza establishment in Jay. In walk a couple of obviously gay men and set down next to them in adjacent booth. The coworkers decide to go redneck and start making gay comments under there breath. The apparent gay dudes are getting pi$$ed but say nothing. In walk's Mr. Morrison and he sets right down next to appparent gay dudes. My coworkers who are now skeered for their lives for a number of reasons promptly get up and exit the pizza establishment.

uh...idn't he a tad old to resume a boxing career? 38 is pretty well past prime in boxing.

He must really need a payday.

He's sort of like the John Daly of boxing.....cept he hasn't won anything to speak of.

38 isn't that old for a Heavyweight any more. Most of the top heavyweights today except for Sam Peter are over 30.

Morrison is far from Ghey, he was once married to two women named Dawn at the same time. Drugs and women along with a poor chin was Morrison's problem.

I think part of his chin issues was is poor conditioning and drug use, and time spent with women. As Mickey said, women weaken legs. As bad as Morrison's chin was, he pretty much always got back up, except for when Mercer knocked him. Lewis stopped him on his feet, and the Bentt stoppage was pretty fluky as Bentt was badly hurt and stopped him on muscle memory alone. Without the 3 knockdown rule, I think Morrison might have survived and won that fight.
