If it hadn't been posted here they would've never noticed it...All the major news outlets get their breaking news from Soonerfans...They browsed the board and saw a thread about one of their spelling errors so they had to go fix it...

Haha, yes I have noticed that most websites have glaring errors in spelling and grammar all over the front page as well as daily papers such as the Oklahoman and the Transcript. It is amazing to me that captions and headlines are where I see these errors most often. I just don't understand why someone would spend hours researching and writing a story, then slap a big sign on it that says "I CAN'T SPELL, DON'T BOTHER READING THIS!" We all make mistakes and mess up from time to time but to do so on such a grand scale is just inexcusable.
