The weather has been unusually crappy for Nebraska, and I haven't been feeling much like myself lately. I am experiencing all the symptoms of the seasonal affective disorder. I'm not even excited about eating a very rare steak and going out drinking with my friends for my birthday tonight. On the upside a warm snap is supposed to start Sunday, and that should start pulling me out of this. But it still sucks for the time being.

SADD is very real. People in Anchorage have bright lights and wear the lighted visors in theor offices.

Go Bowling.

We've got this dive bar around here that has a few lanes in the back. A few friends and I go there every friday after work, and it's done wonders for my winter time depression. The great thing about it is that there are no kids there.

I've been doing this every winter now for almost a year, and I still barely crack 100. We do it just to have a good time. Me, I just like to chuck the ball down the lane as hard as I can...if I hit any pins, thats just a bonus.

that sucks. too bad there aren't any ski slopes in nebraska. winter isn't bad if you have something to do outside.
