I would like to start a thread on the men's basketball bubble, and I will probably add to it twice a week, hopefully on Fridays and Sundays. I will also try to sort out who Sooner fans really need to root against. I would also like to try to show what games they're next game is. If there's any arguement, feel free to post. I will probably just lump anyone that isn't staring at at least a 3 seed right now onto my bubble (this will change as we get closer to Selection Sunday), so my thread is probably gonna look a lot like the national media's bubble. For tonight, I've also added results of today's games.

Ha. RPI 85, losses to Ark-LR, @Ill-Chicago, @Ohio, @Toledo. Only team they played (and will have played) of note was Nevada. They ain't close.

FWIW, VCU (Capel's old team) is 22-5 with a better RPI (45) than OU right now. No bad losses and a chance to beat Bradley for another good win Sat.

Texas Tech played @Baylor a long time ago. They host Colorado next. If you can't get the Big 12 schedule right ...:)

This Weekends bubble games:

ACC:
BC vs UNC
Duke vs Ga Tech
Clemson vs Maryland
Florida St @ Virginia
VA Tech @ NCSt

Big East
Georgetown @ Villanova
Louisville @ Marquette
Notre Dame @ Cinci
Syracuse vs UConn
West Virginia vs Seton Hall

Big 10
Illinois vs Northwestern
Indiana @ Michigan
Michigan St vs Iowa
Purdue @ Iowa Wed

Big 12
Kansas State vs Iowa St
Oklahoma St vs Missouri
Texas Tech vs Colorado
Oklahoma vs atm

Pac-10
Oregon @ Stanford
USC @ Arizona St

SEC
Alabama vs Kentucky
Georgia vs Auburn
Ole Miss @ Arky
Tennessee @ S Car
Vanderbilt vs Fla

Others
Creighton vs Drexel
BYU vs Colorado St
San Diego St @ Wyoming
UNLV @ Utah
Xavier vs Richmond
Old Dominion @ Toledo
VCU vs Bradley
Nevada vs N Iowa
Gonzaga vs Memphis

My thoughts: Clemson v Maryland and Fla St @ Virginia will probably thin out the 8 or 9 teams that claim a chance at the tourney. Louisville can solidify their standing by following up they win at Pitt. I kinda wish Indiana could have beaten Purdue last night. Indy @ Michigan could be a trap, so could Purdue @ Iowa. I'd like to see Oregon keep losing. I didn't include Was St and Arizona because they look like locks right now. Alabama vs Kentucky will probably be a good game. Both teams need it. Creighton vs Drexel is probably the biggest game for Bracket Buster this weekend.

Ohh, and I plan on being at the atm game this weekend. I lucked into a free ticket.:P

Ain't that the sour grapes singin the gospel!

If anyone has an extra for this weekend please let me know. Haven't been able to make a single game this season and tired of my being broke as my reason for not doing so. I will pay for the seat, just want to go and be near the action. (close enough to shoot spit wads at Acie Law would be ideal ;) )

how is bc vs unc a bubble game? I think you might be somewhat confused by the meaning of bubble team.

BC did nothing out of conference. Even though they're leading the ACC, they're RPI ain't super great. Winning vs UNC tonight will definitely change that.

Right now they look pretty in to me though.
