heaters out in the office. current temp outside: 22 with a crapload of wind and snow. Current temp inside: 48


I may call it a day early and just work from home.

Man, with all that metal on, you would think someone would stay warm...

The maintenance guy just came through. He says that recently they've been blowing water out of the gas lines, and that it would appear that the gas line to our building is frozen. we may not have heat for a few hours.

It's hard to concentrate on work when my feet are freezing.

Since being home I've accomplished twice as much in 3 hours than I did in the 3 hours I was in my office. all while sitting next to a wife that is home sick and watching her stories, and asking me to fix her food or do something or other every 10 minutes.


So it was worth it.
