Where do you get your hands on that stuff in OKC?

Byron's in OKC, at NW 23rd and Broadway....appropriately situated between downtown and the state capitol complex. That place has just about anything and everything you could possibly want. A veritable liquor supermarket.

Seriously though, Byron's is heaven. They're typically cheaper than any place else and they have my favorite brand of rum, Barbancourt, straight from Haiti.

I've always said I primarily drink hard liquor. I just drink Zima and other fine malted beverages in place of beer which I hate.

I never said I hated good hard liquor. ;)

This is funny as hell....

I was in class today and we were talking about our Valentine's Day plans and someone asked mine and I said, "Well I have a date with Johnnie Walker."

This girl across from me looks stunned and says, "Wow...I had no idea that you were gay." At first I thought she was insulting my choice of liquor, but she honest to God thought that I was talking about having a date with a guy.

Well it was funny at the time....

I've had that stuff on my mind all week. I also have some porter, wee heavy, barlywines, and Rogue dead guy in the bull pen. Not to mention my attempt at an American Brown Ale chilling.

Add to that a trip to Ye Old Liquortorium tomorrow to look for some suggestions from you guys.

I've got some Trappister rochefort 10, oaken arrogant bastard, several new belgiums (mighty arrow, 1554, blue paddle, sunshine wheat, trippel, fat tire), dfg60min and Indian brown ale. Some real ale brewery. A few lambics my wife likes, stones ruination ipa, (I'm having one next) moose drool, one hoegarden and two blue moon. The last two types were left here after the last party. (Not my doing) I'm having people over tmrw so a lot will be gone.

Holy Brewskies, that's a list. You're not doing it wrong.

Blue Moon is not trash. You have to remember, Bush bought them out because they were making good beer...for that type of beer.

It was fun standing in front of the beer fridge typing it in. I was in tx last weekend and know the people coming tmrw will drink good stuff. I'll drink blue moon but not over most of the other stuff I've got right know. By then I'm not sure if it'll be good. Someone will drink it tmrw anyway.
