at the Tulsa Indian Art Festival this weekend.

Actually, his name is John LoneEagle and he's a percussionist for recording artist Arvel Bird.

Seriously, pretty cool music. They blend Celtic and Indian themes in their music and the result is pleasant.

Is he on the far left or 4th from the left? Our left, their right.
Bandana on his head or no?

Left to right, the fourth guy. No bandana. The bandana-ed guy on the far left is the lead guy, Arvel Bird.

The coolest things this year, in addition to OUr own Picasso's stuff on exhibit, were...

1) this Creek guy, Dan Townsend's shell carvings. The d00d is the shiznit. His stuff is in collections all over the world. Mrs. Homey commissioned a piece which should be pretty cool.

2) An Oklahoma centennial Pendleton blanket designed by Harvey Pratt with a special symbol. I'm gonna get me one. They can be purchased at Brightside Trading in Guthrie.

The Oklahoma Commemorative Centennial Blanket represents the History of Oklahoma and the diverse Heritage of the People. The design is an Osage Tribal Shield on an Oklahoma red earthen background, representing the Land, overlaid with Pipe and Olive Branch, representing Peace among all People. Upon the Osage Tribal Shield are seven Eagle Feathers, for the federally recognized Tribes of Oklahoma. The Osage Tribal Shield is resting on a large Cheyenne Morning Star, reflecting the first Oklahoma Flag. On the Shield sits an American Eagle, representing the United States. The five-pointed stars surrounding the blanket represent the seventy-seven counties of Oklahoma. In flight on each corner is the Oklahoma State Bird, the Scissortail Flycatcher. The Yellow Stripe represents the Morning Light and a New Beginning. The Black Stripe represents the Mystery of Night that holds the Promise of the Future. The blanket is 80" tall by 64" wide.

Bingo. But, since they blend Celtic and Native American, that's ok to look like a hair band (like LIMOZEEEEN!!)
