I am wondering how far we move up if we can get past Baylor because OSU, UT, KSU and TT all lost and we could possibly move ahead of them all when this is updated. Moving into the top 25 by the end of the season would improve our chances greatly of making the big dance as an at large bid.

Just fun to look at some computer stats and rankings. I am not saying the committee will actually pay them that much attention.

Sure enough, after today's update the Sooners move into the 47/48 spot tied with Kansas State. Texas Tech moved down to spot 58. OSU is now 38th and Texas is 40th.

Go here http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin.htm for the complete listing.

Then a huge gap up to Kansas (8th) and Texas A&M (6th).

You can imagine how much a team might jump with a win over those top ten teams.

Another day and another jump in these ratings for OU's men. Now they sit at #46 just ahead of KSU.

Remember these ratings take the average of a team's current computer ranking and a team's projected ranking after the remaining games played.

The computer projection has the Sooners rated 23rd. If that actually happens we will be dancing.

I am hoping the ladies can pull together and get back to dominating play. Coach Coale is trying to shake things up and find a line up that works.
