Is this like Build a Bear?

I did the Build a Bear thing for SicEmEx one V-Day. She was unimpressed.
I dressed the thing up just like me though and even went and had BAYLOR embroidered on the shirt.

Her younger brother ended up with it...

There's one at Woodland Hills in Tulsa, but I'm not sure of where one would be in the OKC.

Got one once for the mom on Mother's Day. She liked it. and I know that my mom isnt my wife. A woman would like it.

And if you and your wife are lesbians, you can get bears that match.

it probably depends on the girl. I did one for a girl one time, but I don't recall how she was about it in all honesty

She'll love it. As long as the "bear" is the shape of a dick, and it vibrates.

They are cute. Kinda pricey. I'm a big fan of Build-A-Bear, too. You can't go wrong with cute teddy bears at Valentine's. But don't forget the chocolate!

Vermont Teddy Bear is pretty damn pricey. Go with the build-a bear if you are doing teddy bears. I got my wife the mom with two kids bears..she likes it, but think she would have liked something just as well from Build-a-bear.

Penn Square has Build-A-Bear. My niece is a major source of their income.
She visits weekly and has every outfit. :O

Roses? over****ingrated. Not important at all.;)

I wasn't the problem though, she was. She hated every gift I ever got her. I got her a diamond heart necklace one Christmas and she said, "Ugh! you know I hate jewelry!"

One year she didn't want me to spend over $10.00 and I knew she liked "karma beads" so I got her some of those and she hated them.

Another time she had a rough week of exams/tests so at the end of the week I randomly sent her flowers to school to perk her up a bit and she said, "flowers are so cliche!"

I wasn't the problem.

Anywhoo, seriously...Build a Bear is great. Definitely tops for personalization and such.

Well, I stand corrected then. I'll have to remember that the next time I visit OKC.

It's soooo easy to spend money there. But well worth it, I think. :)

Well, Sic, I quess this means a woman's love is conditional. Buy her stuff and ye shall receive.

I guess men are just more affectionate than women. We dont need trivial items to stir up our love for them.

I don't see how sending flowers to someone you love is a waste of money.

IMO... The great sex he'd receive for doing so would be well worth the trip to the florist...

I agree. I don't need flowers, or chocolate, or something expensive that we really can't afford.

Just maybe he fix dinner one night instead of me, share a nice bottle of wine and him tell me that he loves me and more importantly is "in love with me"-cause there is a difference ;)

The most romantic Valentines Day I ever had, started with my husband sending me a beautiful orchid. :)

Shouldn't the gift actually MEAN something though?

Whooptee-frickin'-doo. A bear. Yay.

Or maybe instead, X number of longstem roses indicative of the number of Valentine's Days you've spent together along with a simple note that says simply 'I love you', in your own scraggled cursive? Locking eyes as soon as you set foot in the doorway and wrapping your arms around your love, kissing her deeply as you tighten your embrace and gently whisper that with her, you could never be happier? And simple thanks for what she means to your life?

Or some crap like that. Instead of a Vermont Teddy Bear, I settled for an Oklahoma Trouser Snake.
