I've always hated comics.
Newspaper comics and the book sort.

Calvin and Hobbes ruled. That was the best cartoon strip ever, bar none.

EDIT: http://mckenzhi.primetap.com/indexa.html

Every calvin and hobbes strip EVER. Beware the broken links.

C&H was always my favorite...followed closely by Bloom County.

and growing up where the only paper was the Daily Dissapointment, the comics were usually the only part of the paper worth reading.

I've said it before, and I continue to stand by this statement: SicEm is an alien robot. It is the only hypothesis that fits the data.

I think you're right. I'm not kidding around when I say that I can honestly count on one hand the number of times that I have been "relaxed."

I am VERY high strung and tightly wound.

Oddly enough, I agree with this.

But for the sake of getting the thread somewhat back on topic and convincing people that I at least did have a childhood...

I did like some cartoons. I like GI Joe, the Smurfs, and that show about the Gnomes with the different colored hats. That was coooool.

And I do enjoy a good political cartoon.

BANKY: Archie, alright! Archie and the Riverdale gang were a pure and fun-lovin' bunch. You can't find dysfunction in those comics, because they were just flat out wholesome.

HOOPER: Archie and Jughead were lovers.

BANKY: Shut the **** up.

HOOPER: It's true. Archie was the bitch and Jughead was the butch - that's why Jughead wears that crown-looking hat all the time: he the king, of queen Archie's world.

HOLDEN:He's got a point. Archie never did settle on Betty or Veronica.

BANKY: Because he wanted them both at the same time, you *******s! He never chose one because he was trying to get both of them into a three-way!

BANKY: You are marching back across the street with me, and we're going to pick up a **** load of Archie books, I am going to prove to you - beyond the shadow of a doubt that Archie was all about *****. Come on.

The comic strip Dondi also held a spot in my heart because that was my little brothers name. He is no longer with us I'll see him again someday.
