I just got back from the grocery store too...walking in wasn't so bad because the I was walking with my back to the wind. Walking out to my car however...damn.

Yeah, the teens will succ. I've been going through a 20 pound cylinder of propane every 48 hours or so. So far the water's thawed out twice this week so I've had a shower at least every third day. :eek:

Bangkok has had an unusually cold winter. This is the coldest I've seen it here in last 18 years. We've had lows down in the 70s for about two weeks already and normally these cold spells don't last for a day or so. Not only have I stopped running the air con, but I have to wear socks at home.

The sad part is I can remember days I went to high school with weather like that.

Well, actually they had canceled school, but since the jazz band rehearsed at 7 am, I never rolled out of bed in enough time to turn on the tv, so I went to school anyway.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. Bunch of school-closing pansies. There wasn't even ice on the roads, it was just freakin' cold wind.
