View Full Version : Bumping Lock's or Bumping Keys beware

Hey there is a threat to us all beware it's called bumping Locks or Key Bumping. Check out the video on the link. Maybe some of our SO brethren have good solutions to this. Personally I think the loaded 12 guage will dter some one from trying this at my place.

well, that just gives me the creeps. Now I have to go home and check what kind of locks I have on the house.

can't watch youtube on slow computer, please elaborate.. I guess that 90% of the locks in the world can be broken into with someone putting any key into it and bumping it a few times while turning it. Kinda makes ya nervous.

Thanks, that sucks.

I wonder if I go home and try it, will it break the lock or just open it?

You could try but I'm not. You watch the next big marketing item will be that the lock companies will be making lock's you can't do this to.

you have to cut a key a certain way.. i'm sure there are instructions on google somewhere on how to do it at home

personally, i just break a window

I think you need the key made the right way.

If you make it just the right way, you dont have to bump it at all.
