Damn Walgreens

I called them last week to get a prescription refilled. I knew they had to call the doc to get more refills, so I called way ahead of time. I called last Thursday and told the computer that I would pick it up today, 7 days later.

Well, lo and behold, the computer calls me back on Friday and tells me my prescription is ready. I didn't need the pills right away, and besides, due to my crappy insurance, I wanted to wait until I had my paycheck before I pick it up. The damn thing costs me $150 and that's with insurance.

So, I go in today to pick it up (you know, the day I told them that I wanted it). They tell me I waited too long to pick it up and they put it back in stock. I would have to wait 30+ minutes so they can fill it again. I was so ticked off, I left and I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Nobody asked them to fill it last Friday!!! :mad:

Walgreens irritates me too. I ordered a prescription to be refilled and gave them several days to fill it. I usually use the drive thru to pick it up and in the evening, they're usually pretty busy. I decided to go before work to get it one morning and in my rush to leave a couple minutes early, I forgot to take my daily pills. So I thought, eh, I'll just take the new ones once I get to work.

I get to the drive thru, no cars, yay! But the guy says that my prescription hadn't even been filled yet! Arggg!!

So, I waited for them since I needed to take my pills that morning. And I was a couple minutes late for work. :mad:

We use Ye Olde Internet Medicine Shoppe for our meds. Most pills only cost $1 a piece.
