That record will prolly be broken this year.

The forecast for Miami:

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. West wind 6 to 15 mph becoming north. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Breezy, with a north wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

I hope it rains. I'm tired of wimpy fans, players and powers that be only wanting the Super Bowl in perfect climate controlled situations. That's not football. It's a computer game.

Word.

I miss the old school games like Chicago/Green Bay in the mud and snow and all that. Domes have jacked it all up.

Sicified it, even. Heh.

Especially down here.
After reading that, it is a better than equal chance that Sunday night will be Sunny, 86 degrees, 3.5 minutes burn time, wind 1 knot steady with gusts to 50 knots.

It's turned into a festival of entertainment spares with a climate controlled football game interspersed.

It never rained on the Sooners during a game in the 47 game streak, until game 47. How's that for useless trivia??

I hope it rains. The Bears do well in adverse conditions.

What about the 1970 Super Bowl in New Orleans, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Minnesota Vikings? Maybe it didn't rain during the actual game but it must have the night before...the field was very sloppy .

A&M in 1998. I can't remember if there's been one since then.
