How about that, huh? I didn't get to meet CP3, though. A week or two back I was talking to my buddy saying how ironic would it be for me to get the season ticket holder of the game and the one I get to meet be Desmond Mason. Sure enough.

He was very nice, though. I told him good luck. As he was going back, I said, "Man it's just too bad you couldn't have gone to OU" and grinned. He smiled and said, "aaahhhh, I think I did ok on the choice".

I tried to look as dorky as possible during the on screen time. Did I do it?

After the second quarter, I got some upgrade tickets. Section 116, row C, seats 1 and 2. Half court, right behind the scorer's bench. It was awesome. I was there until the final buzzer. It was a really bad game. They just couldn't put it together. They looked tired.

Doh. I wasn't really paying attention. When I posted that I was thinking, "now, was it CP that he met, or Desmond, CP's surrogate while he's nursing his ankle?" Then I thought, "well, duh. CP3 is back now, so they must have said CP3." WRONG!

And Yeah, Desmond's pretty cool in person. I've gotten to chat with him at length a few times, and he's pretty decent, for an aggie. I did give him a little OU/osu hate, though.

As for the dorkiness, you succeeded. The repeated thumbs up was a nice touch. That's OK. I was jealous of your dorkiness. Remember, I was the guy posting at the game.

BTW, I got a great firsthand Desmond story tonight. Actually, it was a great Desmond/Teddy Lehman story.
