I think it was a mis-print, should read: "@ N.W. Auburn Poly Tech St. A&M". They play at the local Jr. High soccer field on Saturday afternoons after the soccer games and post game snack time is over.

K State should rake in the dough for that visit.

...and the other non-con games probably include SWOSU, Murray State, and Cal State - SLO.

Good for them. Hopefully they will be competitive too.

Didn't think I'd see the marquee non-conference games including KSU though.

Are they trying to leave OSU as the sole scheduler of non-conference garbage?

Not quite. Their other OOC's:

Missouri St. (patsy)
San Jose St. (won 9 games including their bowl, lost to BSU on last sec. FG)
At Fresno St. (w/ last year's exception, they're almost always a tough out)

I know their reputation for the cupcakes was well deserved a few years ago, but they've been playing some decent competition lately:

'06- Louisville, Marshall
'05-weak year, Marshall was only respectable opponent & they went 4-7
'04- Fresno St.
'03- Cal
'01 & '02- USC

They've also in the last year signed home & homes w/ Miami & UCLA

they lost to Marshall in 2003 i think, and Fresno beat them when they played them in 2004

Two teams who have never played a non-conference game against a team of the non-disabled. Should be interesting.

That will make it a lot harder to go 6-6.

Besides Georgia, who else have they signed deals with?

We've also got deals signed to play UCLA, Miami, and Georgia in consecutive years. Last I heard, The AU deal isn't quite done because they want to play a return game in Arrowhead, we want it in Manhattan. Most cat fans are excited about the new schedules. We'll try and represent to conference well.
