Tyler Stradford WR out of NOLA is now a Sooner I think.

It's really confusing because he's switched between OU and Southern Miss like 8 times.

Don't mean to be a jerk about this but the kid is 18. I changed my mind about things daily when I was 18. He may not have the guidance required to make such a decision. It will be all over in a week or so.

he had a crazy last couple of years due to the hurricane, my understanding is that his parents dont even live in the same state because of this. He was looking for somewhere that he could be guided and helped out and his cousin along with coach stoops promised him that they wouldnt let him lose focus

I truly hope this kid's play on the field can cause Sooner fans to forget the lousy excuse for humanity that is any type of Katrina smack.

I'm curious to see how good this kid is.

I can remember a few recruits that played head games with us, finally committed, show up and seldom ever got on the field. The whole time I was thinking how they were a ''must have' recruit and they ended up being a non-factor for us.

Just that I've been katrina baited before on this board and I hope that you guys getting this recruit will cause those to forget that crap.

I know he's a Katrina kid, but certainly Scout & Rivals do too. He's not a highly sought after player, but Stoops has done pretty well when it comes to talent evaluation for the Program! To bad Paul Thompson is leaving, he'd have been a great mentor to the Stradford kid.
