I like that Capel won't let them quit. I really liked the inside play early on, but in the second half it was not there. I felt like Longar did well and pulled a bunch of rebounds down. He makes a big difference for us.

Nate also played great inside even if his shots from the field weren't falling today. He didn't miss from the line and battled hard.

I also am disappointed in Griffin's offensive play. Can't expect too much from the frosh/sophs but it would be nice to see one of em step up for the rest of the season.

Barring further injuries (knock on wood) and with some luck on the road against Baylor, Mizzou and KSU (ISU looks very beatable) OU could go 2-3 at home against the top teams in conference and end up 18-11 going into the Big XII tournament.

The key games as I see them are against OSU, TT, MU and KSU.

After what OU did to BU here I feel strongly that we can handle them down in Waco.

This team has a good chance still and they have proven that they can compete on this level.

I am not saying I think it will happen for sure, but I do like our chances! :)

Well I'd have to say I've never seen the board so positive after consecutive losses. In fact I've seen it lesss positive after some wins but the teams progress is apparent.


2-3 at home is probably about right although I like our chances of going 3-2 at home a lot more than even going 4-1 on the road. Don't underestimate the effect of home court for some teams. Texas Tech is a literal Jekyll and Hyde depending on where they play. On a neutral site/conf tourney game I think we are probably better than all the teams we have left on our road schedule. Every single one of the games is certainly winnable but I think winning 3 of the 5 on the road would be an accomplishment.

I think effort will keep us in all the games but I'd still be thrilled if we were 8-8 and I'd be happy if we managed 7-9.
