Going to buy a DVD- RW rom. My cd rom broke, belt came off. So off to the computer sale at the fairgrounds today.

Went to computer sale at fairgrounds once. Total ripp off. Price of admission was higher than expected, then eveything that was advertised on tv was sold out. Damn sand semon

When the show was in Midwest city, i bought all the parts and built a nice puter for under $400.00

When the show was in Midwest city, i bought all the parts and built a nice puter for under $400.00

I liked it there too...

But I've found good deals at both places.

I went once to the computer sale and a few times to second saturday in dallas. Each time the vast, vast majority of the stuff is used, out dated, or just not good quaility. The majority of it is also very over priced. I always found better deals on better equipment through newegg

Be sure to check into the dual layer burners . . . I've had mine for about 3 years now and love it.

just because it's "new" doens't mean it's a current model. a lot of times they sell older inventory at places like that

Gun shows are one thing but computer parts? I'd stick to buying new. I hate running any sort of risk that I might be getting a refurbished turd.

OK, it cost me $43 with tax. Man, I have never seen so much junk in all my life. they had 17" monitors for $30 bucks, but they were bigger than a large microway.

Oh, and the friend i went with would only deal with 1 vendor. he said this was the only one he would trust.
