He'll get to call the plays there.

Norvell's coaching career is like Frogger.

Gotta hurt a little more than usual with a new QB starting next year

Maybe, but our new offensive coordinator was already here this season. Shawn Watson (Barnett's old OC at CU) was brought in during the least off season as TE coach. It has been known for sometime that Norvell has been looking to advance in the coaching ranks and Watson would take over when he left.

CU fans aren't taking it too hard. though, Dorrell is pretty average in my opinion. Watson is pretty average IMO, too.

Anyway you slice it, it's still Callahan's show on offense. He calls the plays and sets the game plan. Norvell's had the OC tag, but Callahan is the OC in all reality. Essentially we are replacing a glorified position coach.

It's offset when you think of how good that QB might end up being. NU could have a really sharp offense next year.

no doubt about that. Cally's still calling the plays. when he puts on his "I'm a smart guy" glasses, watch out!

I wish he'd take off the reading glasses and WATCH THE F'ING GAME INSTEAD OF STARING AT THE PLAY CARD!
