A big hope is Jai Lucas, a top-rated PG. I hear he really likes Capel but he's being recruited by some heavy hitters.

Not sure about any big men, but I hope we can find one. We could use some depth in the post...

Our commits besides Blake are;

Tony Neysmith 6-3 PG
Chris Early 6-7 SF
Cade Davis 6-5 SG-Wing

I don't know of any other bigs (if you define bigs as 6'10 or bigger) we are recuiting though next year we will have Clark back as well as LL and Griffin and given our guards have pretty good size I don't think we will have a size problem.

The biggest prospect we are in on is Jai Lucas (Dad and brother were both pretty good) but there are a long list of teams after him now including Kentucky, Maryland, OSU,NCST,A&M and WF and possibly Duke might be recruiting him as well. So we have a chance but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'm guessing if we don't get Lucas we might sign one more. The other prospect I've seen mentioned is Michael Sanchez 6-8 out of Springdale, AR. He is listed as a PF so you might consider him as a big.

Jai is definitely playing the recruiting game. It's hard to tell if his interest in OU is real or not. From a lot of accounts, though, he and Capel have become somewhat close. Not really sure if that is worth much, if anything, but I guess we'll see.

I'm sure it is. OU wouldn't even be in the mix if a top recruit wasn't impressed with a new coach. Doesn't mean he will come here but if his choice was purely based on school I think he would have chosen Maryland already and followed in his dad's footsteps.
