I hope the Pats win, but I think they will have to put up at least 35 to win. I really can't see Peyton and that offense playing that bad for that long.

Okay Wayne just tripped over his own feet. Good no call and, Tommie, I'm watching the game where Peyton just went through the Pats D like a hot knife through butter. Like I said, Peyton is too good to play that bad for that long.

I'm not an eli fan because I think he is over rated. I like Peyton's commercials! They're saying MOOOVVVERS!

I like peyton off the field, everything I hear about him is he is a great guy and youre right, those commercials are hilarious I agree!!! I do think next year is a HUGE year for ELI to prove he is big time and not just average.

Nice comeback by the Colts, that 80 yard return was a good answer for the Pats though... just glad to be seeing good competitive games this deep in the NFL playoffs again. I am about sick of Belichick and his team going to the SB. Go Colts!

Collier11

Ya, that KO return was big, the colts had so much momentum

why waste your last challenge on that TD ?

Collier11
1/21/2007, 09:14 PM
ya, there wasnt anything at all that could overturn that call. I think sometimes coaches and fans(all the booing) forget that it has to be UN-Disputable evidence

Or is it In-disputable?? Who cares, you know what I mean

It was 3rd down, right? If that play gets overturned, it's likely a 4-point difference.

There were two things that could've been called: (1) he bobbled the ball on the way down (2) he was out of bounds before jumping up to catch it.

Both were very close calls, they just both happened to go NE's way.

I'm torn. I'd like Peyton to get the monkey off his back.

On the other hand, hearing Dallas fans whine about Brady and New England getting more rings would be a bonus for me also.

so torn in this game....I like Brady, but I hate 'The Hoodie', I hate the Patriots, but I like the team first mentality there, I hate Foxboro, I hate the fact that they've been to the Super Bowl 3 of the last 5 years.

On the other hand, the main reason to cheer for the Colts is because they are not the Patriots.

olevetonahill
1/21/2007, 10:12 PM
Personaly I want the Colts to win .
why ? you might ask
then we Have 2 Black Head coaches in the SB ;)
Then we can concentrate On Football and NOT race
see that mile stone will be behind us !:D :D :D

If Brady pulls this out with 60 seconds left, he has to go down as the best playoff qb ever other than maybe Montana

Scott D
1/21/2007, 10:13 PM
Oh, and another reason to cheer for the Colts...so the media doesn't bludgeon us for two weeks with nonsensical crap about this being a rematch of the 85 Super Bowl.

I don't like Payton Manning, because after loosing in the playoffs last year he blamed it all on the O-Line. This does not sound like a team man to me.

nah, Belichick is one Tom Brady injury away from having the kind of records that got him fired from the Cleveland job years ago.

You mean one Drew Bledsoe, injury, right? IF Drew never gets injured, i doubt the Pats ever win a Super Bowl and he would be long gone by now

To be fair to Belichek, the last year in Cleveland was the year Modell decided to up and move during the season. I doubt any coach would have done well under those circumstances.

I bet there's a lot of ****ed Pats fans about that no call PI in the endzone right before the game tying FG. Dude was all over him with both hands right in front of the ref and nothing.

Hope the Super Bowl is as good as this game was.

Were there Vegas odds on first non-white coach to win the SB? If so some HNIC just won a bunch of denero! WTG DON KING! If not then I hope the Sooner laden Bears beat the snot out of the Golden Boy and his colts.

JICYTIAAR I could not even remember what that last anacronism was myself so don't ask me what I meant.
All I know is the SB should be a fun game and I hope you all (Sooner Fans) enjoy it immensely.

No, I mean one Tom Brady injury. Brady beat out Damon Huard for the backup job to Bledsoe the year that Bledsoe got injured. Huard was specifically brought in to be the backup and lost the job in training camp. Even if it wasn't that specific season, Brady would have eventually taken the job from Bledsoe. Just like how Romo eventually took the job from him in Dallas, just like JP Losman eventually took the job from him in Buffalo.

Brady is one of the better decision makers in the NFL. He's arguably done more with less offensively than any QB in the league. If Brady gets hurt, the Pats have to rely on the well rested (ie...over 4 years of not taking first team snaps) arm of Matt Cassell.
