The books are a lot of fun, and the author is a graduate of OU. I'm not sure how good the series will be, but watch it if you can, if for nothing else than to support a fellow Sooner. (One of the author's former buddies at OU posts here - sorry I forgot who it was, whoever you are. ;) )
It's a cool mix of the fantasy, horror and detective genres. Should be a good ride if they've done 'em right.
