And yeah, OU will probably thump us tonight...but I'm expecting a fight for awhile though. My voice is still hoarse from the OSU/UT game last night (I sound like a cross between Barry White and the Satchmo), but I'll be there tonight.

Have a safe trip up. One of my employees drives from Edmond. She said I-35 was fine, but that there were still a few slick patches on HW51. Some of the side roads around town are still pretty damn slick, but they're clearing them little by little.

Let's not say hi, but feel free to join me for a pre-game beer at Joe's and we can cuss about each other's school. Oh, and if you arrive fairly early (more than an hour before tipoff), you can usually park behind Joe's. Then you can get some eats and a beer, and then only have to walk 2.5 blocks to GIA.

Before the game, I had the Sooners winning by 10. So I wasn't that far off.

We still own OSU's women's ??? bball team. Even with the much improved team, new coach, and new players. I was very impressed with Kendra tonight. We have so many great players on the team that step up at different times to contribute when needed. Higgins wasn't hittin the 3 but little Kendra knocks em down when needed. That is team basketball. Good job Sooners!

Well, needless to say I was a little disappointed. Neither team played all that great overall, it was very sloppy basketball. The difference for OU was that OSU couldn't do anything against their zone and that they were hitting a very large percentage of their shots. For OSU, they played very badly. They missed easy layups and were less than 40 percent from the FT line :X. I really don't think last night was a good gauge of either team, but OU showed their depth and experience by playing through it. It may sound incorrect, but I really don't think OU outplayed us as much as the score (before they put in the backups) showed. The major difference was that the shots were falling for OU and not for OSU. Also, OSU couldn't feed it inside at all. They were often putting up ill-advised shots at the end of the shot clock.

Well - a better basketball team would:
1 - get more of their shots to fall.
2 - get the ball inside.
3 - not have to put up ill-advised shots at the end of the shot clock.
