Well this sucks. :texan:

It's the Crap Bowl! (only in bball):D

ON ESPN2....at 9:08.

I'm hoping both teams commit many turnovers, missrepounds, foul trouble, players suspended...etc...:D

That paint job in the lane makes my TV look blurry. Typical Aggie craftsmanship.

pretty good game, at the half.

Sutton needs a Gene Keady Combover. It'd look a lot better than what he has now.

That shot by Eaton could be ESPY-worthy.

uh oh, Dove fouls out. bad news for the pokies.

going to OT. Curry had a chance to put it away.

Would it kill the Poke fans to favor black for their attire over orange? My eyes are bad enough the way it is. It's a good game though.

Could the colors be any uglier?

Someone needs to foul Hatch hard for looking like a d-bag.

I wonder if he primps himself for his sheep...

note to any team visiting Gallagher-Iba:
prepare to get the **** beat out of you underneath the basket and not get the calls.

that is all

no kidding.

and what is with their depth? Do they always play that walk on?

This is a hell of a game. I wish it would go 10 overtimes just to make em all tired. :D

saxet is relying too much on the three. although, considering my earlier post, maybe they feel they have no choice...

speaking of which, why does Durant suddenly think he's Reggie Smith. He should be driving to the basket.

edit: heh, or post up

Boggan and Durant just trade blows.

Durant is unreal as a freshman.

Wild ball game.

I feel so confused. I like Boggan and Durant as players. I feel so dirty.

Yes, but if he hadn't suddenly come under the impression that he was a three point specialist in this game, saxet prolly could have taken it in regulation IMHO.

So JamesOn Curry wasn't suspended for his elbow in the KU game?

Figures.

Have I mentioned lately that Kevin Weiberg is free to go screw himself anytime he wants?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I was at the game, and it is easily the best (and worst for stress level) game I've ever seen in my life. The shot by Eaton was nothing short of unbelievable. I swear I've never heard an arena or stadium go from near quite to almost the peak of loudness so quickly. It was unbelievable. The only thing that might compare would be the interception of the Texas Tech pass in the at the end of the 03 game in Stilly (If you don't know what I'm reffering to I'll elaborate).

Anyway, the big 12 may have two legit first team All-Americans in Boggan and Durrant. However, I have to give the nod to Durrant as the better player overall. Boggan may have got the winning shot, but Durrant was doing it from anywhere on the court and in a VERY hostile enviroment. SOOOOOO glad he can go to the NBA after the seasons over.

Muonelo - injured
Cooper - stomach virus

Roderick Flemings - transferred
Jamal Brown and Tory Johnson booted over the summer

All that = Hatch plays

I was half expecting to see Bowman by the end.

At the end of the game these were our available scholarship players

Boggan
Monds
Curry
Harris - Had 4 fouls though
Hatch

Bowman (if you consider him a scholarship player) was the only one we had left with Cooper having a virus and Eaton and Dove fouling out. This lineup played for the last 17 minutes straight without subs. They were amazing. We must have very good conditioning.

He was only 4-12 from three, but he hit 'em when they counted and kept his team in it. Boggan was 1-4. He only hit the last shot of the game.

Bobby Knight doesn't care about that call, so the Big 12 wont look twice at it.

BTW, good win Aggie. It was suspenseful!

Unless your name is Kevin Durant, then you can do whatever the hell you want at all times. Although he is probably the best player that I've ever seen in Gallagher.

Excellent game but I wanted them both to lose, if possible.

What was with those camera angles? GIA just got remodeled and they didn't splurge for a stand tall enough to see over the row of people right in front of it.

I'd disagree completely, there were many possessions down the stretch that were one-and-done for saxet because he and other players jacked up threes early in the possession with no one in position to rebound. Many were also contested. credit okie lite for the d on some of those. But more driving and passing would have made a difference IMO.

They've had the camera angles in a few different spots. Currently, it's 2 seats to the left of me, which is on the top row of the "lower bowl," or middle deck. This is the first year for that angle, and it's way too low (there are fans sitting 2 rows in front of it).

When the building was first remodeled, the camera nest was at the very top of the building in the center, but since the stands are built at such an extreme angle (for noise), the camera angle was ****.

Last year, and a couple of years previous, the camera was placed on the walkway above the lower bowl, or about a 5 foot wall above where it currently is. In my estimation, this has been the best place for the camera since the renovation. It gets annoying seeing the back of peoples heads and the crazy woman that always flails her arms up in the air with pistols firing. Oh well.

That's what happens when you have a ****load of freshmen playing crucial minutes. They don't manage a game very well.

That being said, we were pathetic against their token pressure, and we've been pathetic in that regard in all years previous to and after the graduation of John Lucas, III. The game wasn't really played at an unbelievable level, but both teams made crucial shots (which makes it look much prettier) while only taking advantage of maybe 50% of the opposing teams mistakes. It was an exciting game, to say the least, but wasn't as well played as the Pitt game, I didn't think.

I agree. My blood pressure was elevated to an unhealthy level for 2 hours. Great game though.
