Chargers playing very well as the game progresses. If they keep it up and finish over NE I don't see the Colts beating them in SD, either.

Montana had better offensive talent around him, Brady - better defenses. But this Patriots team isn't terribly talented.

I just saw a clip from the post game conference and L.T. said some of the Pats players were mocking one of the Chargers player's dances on top of the Charger's logo right after the game. That's what L.T. was p*ssed off about. When I was watching it live I thought it was L.T. being a sore loser..but now it kinda makes sense, that's a little less than a classy act by the Pats. Just win the game and be ready for next week, you don't have to rub it in the losing teams face. I hope the Pats get spanked by the Colts.

Team with the best record in the AFC has not won the AFC Championship for about six or seven years now. Too many good teams in the AFC. Chargers will be back next year, too many good players on that team. But LT had a lot of carries already in his career and that is gonna catch up at some point. Hard to know if Rivers will always play well or if he benefitted from a lot of other great players. And Merriman is one strike away from the Ricky Williams memorial one-year ban. Oh well, some day the Chargers will catch up to the rest of the AFC West by winning a Super Bowl. :D
