if you were going to have a lakehouse in OK what lake would it be at and why.

Is Eufala nice? Tenkiller?

I've been to and really like both Texhoma and Grand.

so you're going to live at the drilling site and own a house on the lake?

I like Keystone.

Eufaula is brown, ick.

Broken Bow is awesome.

I lived around Tenkiller most of my teen years and I love it. But the area around Broken Bow is much, much prettier.

that's the plan.

Thunderbird would be handy but you can't live on the lake there. Same with Murray. My brother lives in Tulsa so I was thinking of something around that area so he could use it too but I like Texhoma a lot too.

Where is Keystone? Is it very big?

The Porum Landing/Clear Bay area on Eufala is not muddy and is awesome.

Keystone is a large lake. It is about 20 miles west of Tulsa. Lots of traffic on that lake almost any decent weekend.

I am not a huge fan of the local lakes. I think Beaver and Table Rock in Arkansas and Missouri blow anything we have away.

I think living here would be cool though. Some of the homes are fantastic.

I guess it depends on how big of a lake you want to live by.

Keystone seems nice, but like Grand Lake there's probably some meth production nearby. :D

Tenkiller is nice enough IMO, and maybe even Skiatook Lake.

We go skiing down at Texoma every-so-often, but I don't know if I'd want to live down there.

Mrs. Williesan and I looked at the Crosstimbers area a while back. While it would be very cool to live there, our wallets told us otherwise. Tenkiller is very nice for NE OK, and Keystone's literally 30 min from downtown Tulsa. As for other lakes beyond those two, I'm sure others will have them.

Also, within walking distance of the Texanna Road Lounge would be a good idea.

This does not concern 1TC, He is more interested in the gigilo/ Fred Garvin factor.

Then Tenkiller would suit him better.

The inlaws have a cabin on Lake Eufala. It's on part that isn't brown and icky (east of 69). It's a nice place.

The only part of Eufala that is brown is the north part where I-40 goes over it. That's the only part most people know. The south part is nice. I'd have one at the Longtown area of Eufala. That area has a primo wakeboarding spot.

I like Texoma but it has no primo wakeboarding spot.

Tenkiller is nice but not much beach area and no primo wakeboarding spot.

Arbuckle is nice.

Broken Bow is beautiful but too far away. If it wasn't so far, I'd say Broken Bow. It's no Table Rock or Beaver Lake but it is pretty nice.

Depends on if you're more into fishing or wakeboarding.
