SETTING THE STAGE: Oklahoma plays Weber State this afternoon in the second of two games this weekend…Weber State stunned the Sooners and served OU with its first home loss of the season 5-3…OU’s all-time record against Weber State is now 4-3-2...Today’s game has been changed to a 3:30 PM start due to the inclement weather currently affecting the Oklahoma City metro area.
OKLAHOMA NOTES: Sooners forwards Michael Gray, Adrian Borchgrevink and Kyle Allan scored goals for Oklahoma last night…Borchgrevink’s goal was his 20th of the season…Oklahoma goaltender Ryan Anderson stopped 17 of 21 shots last night…OU was 1 for 8 on the power play yesterday…When OU doesn’t score first in a game, the Sooners are 13-21-3 all-time…OU defenseman Danny Force is not with the Sooners for this series against Weber State as he is with the U.S. University Select Team in Washington, D.C. preparing for the 2007 World University Games in Torino, Italy.
WEBER STATE NOTES: Forward Ian Soldano scored two goals against the Sooners last night…One of Soldano’s goals was the first empty net goal scored against OU this season…Anton Volkov, Devon Benike and John Darby also scored for Weber State…Goaltender Kyle Gover stopped 31 of 34 Sooner shots last night.
