OU still has a pretty good D. If fans show up and Neal gets hot from beyond the 3-point line, it could be interesting. Texas has had a mixed bag this year. The biggest problem is that OU hasn't shown the ability to play big for any games this year. They haven't lost any they should have won, but they haven't won any they should have lost either. Unless they give up, I don't think this will be quite the beating many of you think.

looks like we have those same second half adjustments we had against Tech. surprising to me, because after Capel got hired i read through all the VCU boxscores on yahoo! from last year and ONE of the things you noticed was outscoring the opponent in the second half, even in losses.

Well it did nearly even up in the second half thanks to garbage time. I think even if we had Longar2 we would have been likely to be clubbed like a baby seal and that was before the Whorns started making about every 3 they put up.

Barnes probably could have really rolled the score up if he hadn't taken his foot off the gas but I do like the way the team didn't quit and closed the gap late. That type of effort could be indicative of the future when we won't be as short in depth and the team has more talent.

haven't played there in 2 or 3 years. They have new ownership and I guess they fixed up the clubhouse, and are trying to make improvements to the course. I may have to go back and give it a try someday - it's just down the road from me.
