SETTING THE STAGE: Oklahoma plays Weber State tonight in the first of two games this weekend…The Sooners and Wildcats played a pair of games earlier this season in Ogden, Utah…Oklahoma swept both games in that series, winning by scores of 9-3 and 6-0…With those wins, OU’s all-time record against Weber State is now 4-2-2.

OKLAHOMA NOTES: Sooners forward Adrian Borchgrevink continues to lead the Sooners in goals with 19 and total points with 33…OU forward Doug Gebbie is second on the team in goals with 15…Gebbie (15-14-29), Owen Brewer (7-21-28), Kevin Kennedy (12-8-20) and Luke Rose (11-9-20) follow Borchgrevink in terms of points…Oklahoma goaltender Aaron Schmeilski has a record of 13-2-0 with a 2.05 GAA and a .927 save percentage…The Oklahoma power play this season has scored 61 goals in 245 chances for a 24.8% success rate…The Sooners penalty kill is equally as impressive, allowing only 17 goals in 200 opportunities for a 91.5% kill rate…Oklahoma has an all-time home record of 60-13-2…The Sooners are 39-13-3 all-time in games played on Fridays and 26-6-1 in Friday night home games…When OU scores first in a game, it’s a good sign as the Sooners are 71-8-2 all-time when netting the game’s first goal…Gebbie returns to the Sooners this weekend after taking time off due to a family illness.

WEBER STATE NOTES: After Oklahoma’s 9-3 win over Weber State in October, Weber State’s coach Joe Pfleegor left the WSU Hockey program and was replaced by Treasure, a former WSU player…The Wildcats are in a rebuilding mode this season and have fallen out of the Top 20 for the first time in four years…Weber State is led in scoring by forward Anton Volkov, who has four goals and six assists for a total of 10 points in fourteen games this season…Volkov is followed in scoring by defenseman Devon Benike (3-6-9), forward Ian Soldano (6-2-8), and defenseman Tristan Schwarz (3-4-7)…Goaltender Kyle Gover is WSU’s top netminder with a goals against average of 3.71.
