but I don't have a fever--my temperature's 98.8, which is almost lower than normal for me.
I don't feel like I have the flu...I wasn't achy until after i puked 20 times. I thought maybe I ate something funny yesterday that my stomach didn't like, but i'm pretty sure everything I ate yesterday is already gone.
Calling to try to make a doctor's appointment before the weather gets really ****ty....

The weird thing is that I also threw up last night. That was the first time in 5 years. Strange. I feel fine now, though.
It's probably just an upset stomach. Once you empty out your stomach, I'm sure you'll start feeling better.
It sucks right now, but it won't be long before this is a distant memory.

I had the flu one time in college where I threw up on every even hour, but never ran a fever. <Mom voice> If you can't keep anything down, you really should see a doctor. You don't want to get dehydrated. <Mom voice>

If you're still throwing stuff up, your stomach isn't empty. If it's dry heaves, then you probably need some medicine.

There was some nasty virus going around Denver right before I left. I managed to start feeling it the day before my flight, morning of my flight back to Korea it was on. It only lasted about 24 hours with me though, so hopefully you'll be well soon.

thanks for the get well wishes--most of you were helpful. only some of you are ****ers ;)
went to the doctor. they drew blood and gave me a shot in my a5s for the nausea, along with some pills to help calm down my stomach. and since so many people have mentioned vomiting vs. dry heaves--the way it started was puking uncontrollably until long after everything was gone. And it kept doing that every two hours. It slowed down after they stuck me with needles... so I'm thinking it was a 2-3-day bug of some sort and not food poisoning. Plus, later on I had a fever.
I'm feeling much better, aside from a lot of sore muscles, and i still don't have very much energy because i couldn't eat for 2-3 days. GHP is a totally awesome brother...and I am SO happy I cleaned my toilet wednesday before any puking started. best decision ever.

I had the priviledge of getting my first case of food poisoning this xmas on a 5 hr trip to my parents house after leaving work at 4pm.
It was much as you described.
Worst drive EVAR. By myself, in the middle of no where and it would not get dark. I swear that was the longest day we have had since DST kicked in. I was cussing the sun for not going down.
